ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project was a full refurbishment and thermal retrofit of two properties designed to meet the EnerPHit Passivhaus standard.
The key focus of the project for the Owner was to achieve high levels of energy efficiency resulting in lower Energy costs and a reduction in the Carbon Footprint.
The project involved using sustainable building products and finishes, to achieve a comfortable and environmentally friendly living space.
Eco Design architects had specified the below elements in order to achieve an extremely high energy efficient retrofit which we implemented, altering the structure and fabric of the properties to improve upon current building regulations.
This was an extremely successful project, and the properties high energy performance results evidence the care we took over the implementation of the complex areas of Eco renovation work, to achieve two outstanding modernised properties, now with very low energy costs.
